Test Systems Engineering & 3D Printing
The REO-dEC R2 is a high-performance, multi-purpose dynamometer and engine controller designed for professional engine test applications. It provides stable, repeatable control using advanced high-speed digital PID algorithms, combined with an intuitive touchscreen interface for ease of setup and operation.
Housed in a compact 6U, 19” rack-mount enclosure, the REO-dEC R2 is suitable for installation in standard control cabinets and test facilities. The integrated 12” high-resolution touchscreen allows easy system setup and provides clear monitoring of operating status, measurements, and recorded test data through a range of intuitive, multi-screen displays.
The system is designed to support a wide range of dynamometer types and engine configurations, making it suitable for both new installations and upgrades to existing test beds.
The REO-dEC R2 can be configured with a range of optional output modules to suit different dynamometer types and engine control requirements. This modular approach allows the system to be tailored to specific applications without unnecessary complexity.
Available options include:
For applications requiring additional measurement channels, the REO-dEC R2 can be expanded using an optional Transducer Box. This provides increased flexibility for monitoring engine and environmental parameters during testing.
Front-panel connections include:
Integrated sensors:
The REO-dCA R2 system is based on the proven REO-dEC R2 controller and expands it into a complete engine test-bed control and data acquisition system. Using commercial off the shelf hardware and the easy-to-use REO-dCA software, the system delivers powerful capability in a compact and practical form.
REO-dCA R2 is suitable for upgrading existing test installations or for inclusion in new test facilities where a fully integrated solution is required.
Typical system Includes:
Typical applications:
REO-dCA systems utilise remote I/O modules integrated within the transducer box, minimising the amount of test-cell wiring required. Signal connections between system components are kept to a minimum, allowing installation to be carried out efficiently and reliably.
Systems can typically be installed by the end-user following supplied documentation and drawings. Alternatively, 6DM can provide a full installation and commissioning service if required.
The REO-dEC controller includes a built-in Windows™ PC system and can be connected to a site network where required.
Detailed technical documentation is available for the REO-dEC R2 and REO-dCA R2 systems, including product brochures, system drawings, and manuals.
